Bahuchara Mata is an Indian Goddess worshiped in West and North India especially Gujrat and Rajasthan.Bahuchara Mata is regarded as Goddess of Fertility and is worshipped by childless couples who wish for a child.She is also worshipped by the transgenders or Hijras who atone for their sins and karma of past and present life. Bahuchara Mata is considered incarnation of Devi Parvati .She is shown as a beautiful goddess with the Trident Trishul in one hand and hindu scriptures on the other hand.She uses a rooster as a vehicle and roosters are considered dear to Her. Dussehra 2022 || Vijayadashami 2022

Dussehra is a Hindu festival celebrated all across India. Dussehra is also called Dasara or Vijayadashami. Dussehra is celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil. On this day, Lord Ram killed the King of Demons , Ravana who had abducted his wife Sita.

Diwali is celebrated twenty days after Dusshera when Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya, his kingdom after defeating Ravana.

When is Dusshera || Dasara 2022 Date

Dusshera is celebrated at the end of Navratri. Dasara 2022 will be celebrated on 5th October, Wednesday. On Dusshera , effigy of Evil , Ravana are burnt to celebrate the victory of Lord Ram and to kill the evil and bad in the society.

Dusshera 2022 Celebrations

Dasara is celebrated across India in different ways. In Maharashtra, it is celebrated as Gudi Padwa, Onam in Kerala, Bihu in Assam and so on.

People burn firecrackers, perform puja and ask God to destroy all bad and evil from their lifes. Like other festivals , people eat different food items like Jalebi fafda in Gujrat , Paan in Norther India , Dosa in South India and Rasgullas and Sweets in East India particularly West Bengal.
